Boundary Oak School is award-winning co-educational traditional British Boarding School with rich history, set in the beautiful English countryside with 23 acres of land. We are offering education for student age 7 till 16 years old with EAL support for International Students. We offer a wide range of all inclusive extra-curricular activities and clubs after school hours. Our excellent facilities include Swimming Pool, Theatre, Indoor Sport hall, Floodlit astro pitches, Rugby pitches, tennis course, Rifle Range, Science Laboratories, ICT Suite, Library and Art and Design Studio. Only 90 minutes from Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Courses

Primary and Secondary school

We can accept students from 7 years old till 16 years old. We are offering general education following British National Curriculum including GCSE programme which students can enter when they are 14 years old and study it for 2 years.

Summer School

This is typical summer school for International students age 10-16 years old including also British Students offering 4 lessons per day for 5 days, one whole day excursion and one half day to London, Cambridge, Oxford etc

Accommodation

All our students are living at campus in 16th century boarding house which has been refurbished 2 years ago. Our boarders lives in rooms by 3 or 4 pupils and have shared bathrooms and toilets.

Teaching and Lessons

There are four underlying strands to our Curriculum that we aim to promote and develop: A Growth Mindset: This is embedded in our classroom practise and in our Baccalaureate Philosophy: From the P4C (philosophy for children) in the Ask It strand of Open Futures, through questioning and fertile questions in our schemes of work, to the explicit teaching of philosophy in our Humanities curriculum in Prep. Outdoor Learning: All pupils benefit from our Outdoor Learning Programme throughout their time at school. Digital skills: Through our computer science curriculum which covers coding, animations, film and sound editing, website and app building as well as 3D printing. Pupils also have the chance and freedom to explore and enhance their digital skills through a host of clubs. We have already been recognised nationally by being shortlisted in the ICT Innovation Award at the 2015 National Education Business Awards.
