The International School of English / Dublin

Two centres available by ISE: Located in the centre of Dublin at our D.I.T. campus on Aungier Street on the south side and on the north side of the city at Scoil Chatriona in Glasnevin. DIT UNIVERSITY - AUNGIER STREET: English language classes take place at DIT University - Aungier Street. All classrooms are equipped with top of the range audio visual technology and interactive teaching aides. SCOIL CHAITRIONA: This junior programme takes place in the Scoil Chaitríona - St Mobhi Rd, Glasnevin, Drumcondra, Dublin 9. The traditional Irish school is located on the North side of the city of Dublin (about 3 km north of Dublin city centre) in Glasnevin and is just a few minutes walking to the amenities of the National Botanic Gardens, the historical Glasnevin Cemetery, Griffith Avenue and local parks The Scoil Chaitríona is only 40 minutes’ walk from the city centre and has good facilities including sports court, spacious classrooms, a fully equipped canteen, library and computer labs.

Courses

ISE General English

General English 15 or 20 hours per week. Morning classes with afternoon activities. General English courses represent the basic foundation for learning English fluently.

ISE General English + Exam Preparation

General English 15 hours per week. Exam preparation 5 hours per week included (FCE/PET/TRINITY). Morning classes with afternoon activities. For the student who has a confident understanding of the English Language and wants to prepare for future scenarios where their knowledge of the language has to be certified, then the General English lesson with Exam Preparation is for them.

ISE Exam Preparation

15 hours per week focusing on exam preparation. Morning classes with afternoon activities. For the student who has a clear goal of where they want to study Third level or work - holding a high level certificate will make those goals a reality.

ISE Business English

Business English 15 hours per week. Morning classes with afternoon activities. For the confident English language user, a new angle to your language learning is Business English.

Accommodation

Homestay: All students will be placed in homestays and the 3 main meals of the day are included 7 days a week. Our homestays are carefully selected and are accustomed to hosting students - this is what makes it a better choice of accommodation for our students as the families are experienced in handling issues and needs as they arise. Residential option: The students will have a great experience, sharing with friends but also havin their own space in the ensuite single room, with loads of workspace and plenty of storage. The apartaments are well equipped: fridge/freezer, modern kitchen, dining table, sofa, tv and unlimited Wi-Fi. When the students want to socialize they can join the community in the social spaces: TV loubge, gym, library, outdoor space and games area. Available for summer programmes.

Teaching and Lessons

Our experienced and qualified teachers ensure a friendly and professional language learning experience. Lessons are lively and communicative, helping you to progress and develop your English language skills. Students are given weekly progress tests to monitor progress, and tutorials every 6 weeks to assess development and offer suggestions on how to improve. ISE is a fully accredited English language school located in Dublin 2, 5 minutes walk from Grafton Street – famous for its tourist attractions and cultural atmosphere within walking distance of the school. ISE Ireland is located in the heart of the city centre and all areas are within easy and immediate access.
