IH London is in the beautiful Covent Garden, central London. Everything London has to offer can be reached from our front door. Our modern air conditioned school has nine floors with a large library, café, computer centre, comfortable social spaces, reception, and 53 fully equipped large bright classrooms. It is within walking distance of several tube stations. The closest are Covent Garden (Piccadilly Line) and Holborn Station (Central Line and Piccadilly Line). The school is open year-round for students aged 16+ with courses starting every Monday. IH London teaches across the full learning journey: young learners, English for adults, exams, professional learners, teacher training and other modern languages. Teaching and Lessons

Our founders John Haycraft (CBE) and his wife Brita Haycraft started a school because they believed in international communication and building communities across cultures. Our founders pioneered the very first teacher training qualification (in 1962), now known as the CELTA and assessed by the University of Cambridge. IH London still believes in inspiring people to be the best they can be. Teaching for over 65 years, International House London predates the now global brand International House World. We are now part of a global network of 160 independent schools.
